#14 Blood River, Devil’s Pulpit, Gartness, Scotland

Devil’s Pulpit is located about 200 yards off Deerberry Lane in the Blood River bottom in Scotland. It is a small rocky outcrop that sits high on a steep hill overlooking the Tintern Abbey and the valley below. The local legend tells that the Devil himself used to preach from the outcrop, and attempted to chase the abbey's monks away fromChristianity. Visitors beware, if you come to Devil’s Pulpit, maybe the Devil might try to seduce you.
